Lia & Teg / Palm Beach

Lia & Teg Wanted something "outside the box" with their venue so they selected St. Catherine's Greek Church in West Palm and The Flagler Museum in Palm Beach for the reception. I have to say that the little quaint church is quite impressive with the beautiful painted ceilings and the dainty crystal chandeliers that line the aisle. Maybe I'm conversting to Greek?
The reception room was washed in pink lighting which really warmed the room. We went with the recetangle and square tables which looked really great in the space and flanked the dance floor perfectly. The centerpieces were dragon wood brances that were adorned with hanging pink crystals and finished with balls of fushia roses and green hydrangea. A little moss was added for additional texture. I'm in love with the crushed moss linens that we used and , of course, the chavari chairs finished the room.

Emily & Jon Cocktail Party

Oh my goodness.. What a adorable couple. I really loved working with Emily and Jon on their cocktail party to celebrate their nuptials which took place a month earlier. They really just wanted their family and friends to be a part of the celebration so they thought the pavillion at Flagler would be the perfect spot. That room leaves me breathless everytime I step into it and I never get use to the magnificence of the room.
They went with a clean " cocktail style" look for their room. We did high and low cocktail tables around the room with a apple green satin linen. The flowers were just tall vases with white lighting, white orcids and white calla lilies. The room was washed with color and the white lounge furniture squared off the dance floor. We really just wanted to show off the natural architecture of the room. They offered different tapas station to their guests that they could enjoy at their leisure.
This group danced all night long and I was really happy to be a part of such a memorable event.

Jupiter High School Prom

I wish I was a student of Jupiter High School! For the past four years I have worked with them conceptualizing their prom themes and bringing them to life. This year we had the most exciting yet challenging, Arabian Nights theme. After heading down the red carpet through the Arabian Bazaar tented entrance to the 25,000 square foot ballroom your eye was instantly drawn to a 20x40 set backdrop depicting the passion and sensuality we wanted to portray with the theme along with our choice palette of blues, purples, golds and hints of fiery orange. The upbeat sounds of Arabian music filled your ears as the fruity incense softly permeated throughout the room. Our "in the round" stage provided for a perfect party and dance atmosphere with our DJ team and hip hop dancers to hype this party up. For those that were chillin out, we had several loungy seating areas which provided for more intimate conversation.
A surprise performance with swords and candlelit head balanced chandeliers by our costumed belly dancers was a big hit. Butlered drinks, decked out dinner buffet and delectable dessert towers were sampled by all...The prom was documented on a thirty minute DVD memoir video that each of the students received as a party favor. Can't wait until next year!

Fire & Ice Event

What a fun theme!! I really loved working on this event. We had one room that was draped in all red and orange fabrics and one room in all white fabric. The "fire" room was where the dinner reception took place and was complete with a fire show and a very "hot band". The ice room was for the after party to "cool" off and just relax with the sounds of the lounge music provided by a club DJ. Guests could also enjoy martini's via the two grand ice luges.
This was a "hot" party!!

Nicole & Garrett

Nicole & Garrett were such a sweet couple! She reminded me of a little barbie doll. The nupituls took place at a local boutique church in Delray Beach and the celebration followed at the historic Sundy House...always a treat. Nicole selected green and ivory as her primary colors. She has balls of the flowers hanging from the branched lined ceilings and the centerpieces rested on opulent glass vessels. The romantic tone was further enhanced by the soft amber lighting around the room.
